    Comments:

My experience with Dr. Sangeorzan at OPA was fantastic, and I wholeheartedly recommend him.

I broke my ankle and visited a different orthopedic surgeon that the ER recommended. That surgeon, unlike Dr. Sangeorzan. was curt, dismissive of my concerns and scheduled me for surgery even after declined it and shared that I wanted a second opinion.

By contrast, Dr. Sangeorzan was sincere, respectful, and relied on more recent research to take a wait and see stance to surgery. He took time to explain the pros and cons of my options. He shared detail on the specific improvements in the ankle’s healing that would mean surgery could be avoided. He shared that he would have the surgery if he were in my position but 100% supported my choice to not operate.

He and everyone in his practice were friendly and competent. The digital check in process was efficient. The offices are welcoming. The parking is convenient. Good Covid-19 procedures were evident.

He’s a gem: a surgeon willing to help his patient heal without surgery.
